Weight Control Tea: A Tea Answering the Obesity Problem?

European producer of natural health products Bio3 has released an herbal tea said to combat obesity and reduce overweightness. As one of 17 products introduced into the American market in late 2009 by Bio3 Corporation, Weight Control Tea is part of Bio3's weight loss teas described to eliminate fat and reduce toxins that are harmful to the body, according to its website Shopbio3.

Recognized as a leading producer of organic products and herbal infusions for alternative medicine, Bio3 Corporation states that all its products are made with natural ingredients from plants that are cultivated in a pollution-free environment and that their products serve as a nutritional complement, not a replacement, for healthy eating and daily exercise.

Weight Control Tea contains weight loss herbs and natural plant extracts including wild mallow, cassia leaves, sage leaves, and seaweeds. The herbal tea also helps relieve constipation, with Bio3 company representatives altogether maintaining that it provides natural remedies for constipation. According to a 1999 study on selected medicinal plants by the World Health Organization, cassia leaves are an acceptable medicinal plant to use for treatment of occasional constipation for a period of 7 to 10 days.

With recent news reports on America's obesity epidemic, Weight Control Tea assumes an answer to what critics say is a growing problem. Still, Bio3 company representatives state that Weight Control Tea was created as an alternative solution meant to be combined with a balanced diet and exercise in dealing with obesity and overweightness, rather than undertaking a demanding weight loss diet or relying on miracle fat burner pills for shedding pounds.
