Health Problems Associated With a Toxic Body

As you look at the world around you, you should be aware of the toxin levels that are around you, as well. They exist wherever there are chemicals, pesticides, and food additives. The air in which you breath are full of toxins, as well as the water you drink. The problem is you can't see them. However, you know they are there and they can cause problems with your health. According to researchers, approximately 60 to 80 percent of cancers are the result of chemicals that are in the air we breath, the water we drink, and the food that we eat. Research is continually being conducted to find out what the effects of these toxins are on our bodies. The following are health problems that can arise from the build up of toxins in your body.

Digestive Problems

There are several digestive disorders that can occur from toxic build-up in the colon. Constipation and diarrhea are common when this happens. Symptoms associated with the toxic build up and constipation include nausea, anxiety, headaches, bad breath, poor appetite, and skin blemishes. These are only a few of the symptoms. Colon cancer comes in second place to lung cancer in deaths caused by cancer.

Low Immune System

Because toxins can change the structure and function of the cells in the body, you are more apt to get a number of colds and viruses. When the cells are not functioning properly, your immune system can not work up to standards and fight them off. Many people who have a build up of toxins in their bodies find themselves feeling sick often.

Obesity

Many individuals with high toxic levels in their bodies are obese. This occurs because toxins are stored in the fat cells. With time, as you are accumulate more toxins in your body, more storage space is needed and the result is obesity. This is sometimes called toxic obesity, as it is the bodies way of keeping the toxins from circulating within your body. When an obese individual starts to lose weight, some of the toxins may be released into circulation again, causing the individual not to feel well. The key is to keep moving as your body will eliminate these toxins through bodily functions, such as sweating, or the individual can go through a detoxification process.

Body Odor

While many think that body odor is natural, the fact is, body odor can be the sign of other issues and one of them is a toxic overload in your body. Perspiration is generally odorless, however, it is the perspiration combined with bacteria and even toxins, that cause the odor. Keep in mind, however, that body odor can be a symptom of something more serious, such kidney disease or liver disease.

These, of course, are just a few of the health problems that can result from toxins in the body. Other toxins, such as pesticides, may cause immediate health problems, or some, such as asbestos, will develop into something more serious at a later date. In the case of asbestos, it is lung cancer.

If you have symptoms of a toxic build-up in your body, consider having a complete body cleansing. This will help to eliminate the toxins in your body and help you body to function more efficiently.
