It would just depend on how healthy you want it to be.

Before cooking the cauliflower, you must first prepare it the right way. The leaves must be removed as well as the stem of the vegetable. You can cut the base using a large knife to easily do this without ruining the cauliflower itself. Now, by using a small knife, you can start cutting the core so you will be left with the whole cauliflower head. Then use your hand to separate the small florets of cauliflower. Leave it in a basin with salt for at least 30 minutes.

Now choose any of these methods on how to cook cauliflower. You can boil it, steam, fry, or even use the microwave when cooking cauliflower.

Boiling
After washing the vegetable, you can drain it. Fill your pot with water (at least half of the container) and put a dash of salt. Bring the water to boil and put a little bit of lemon juice, vinegar, or milk. This would ensure that the cauliflower would still retain its color even after boiling. Once the water boils, you can put in the cauliflower. Wait until it becomes crisp by checking it using a fork. It would only take 15 minutes or less before the florets become completely cooked. Never overcook the vegetable or else you will lose the flavor and the nutrients. Drain the water and serve.

Frying
One way of cooking cauliflower through frying is by sautéing it in butter. But if you want to give more zest you can make a batter. You can combine milk, flour, and egg to make the batter. Use butter or vegetable oil and pre-heat it in the pain. Use the batter to coat the cauliflower. Then fry the vegetable until it becomes golden brown. It is best served when hot and crispy.

Steaming
Put the cauliflower in the steamer basket. Put enough water in your steamer and put it in the stove. It would only take 20-30 minutes before the steamed cauliflower is cooked.
